Moldova victorious in MaltaThe Group Stage of the 7th edition of the IHF/EHF Men’s Challenge Trophy was carried out over this weekend. On 4-6 November 2011, four national teams met in Malta and four others in Ireland to play out the two finalists. Group B’s tournament was played in Tal-Qroqq University Sports Hall in the town of Msida, Malta, on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea. It was the third time for Malta to host an IHF/EHF Challenge Trophy. Beside the four national teams of Moldova, Azerbaijan, Scotland and hosts Malta battling for victory, the occasion was used for the transfer of know-how and exchanges regarding handball refereeing and coaching with focus on development and professionalism.
