The throw-off times for the four final matches of the VELUX EHF Champions League have been released.

With three months to go until the start of the VELUX EHF FINAL4 in the LANXESS arena, Cologne, the playing times for the four final matches of the VELUX EHF Champions League have been announced by EHF Marketing GmbH.

Following discussions with television rights holders to ensure the best possible exposure for the event on television screens around the world and also to guarantee an unforgettable experience for the 20,000 fans in the LANXESS arena, the timings will be as follows:

Saturday 26 May 2012

Semi-final 1 – throw off at 15.15
Semi-final 2 – throw off at 18.00

Sunday 27 May 2012

3rd/4th Placement match – throw off at 15.15
VELUX EHF Champions League Final – throw off at 18.00

17,000 tickets already sold

Already more than 17,000 fans have booked their seats for the biggest handball club event of the year on 26 and 27 May 2012. 500 further tickets are reserved for each of the four participating teams.

For an exclusive experience at Europe’s biggest handball event of the season, tickets are available for a “VIP Fan Box” for a limited time only, offering a spectacular view of the action and first-class hospitality during all four matches on Saturday and Sunday.

Fans are also in for a treat at the event, with the Swedish rock legends EUROPE confirmed as the star attraction.  They will perform their greatest hits including “The final countdown” before the VELUX EHF Champions League Final and during the winners’ ceremony.
