Noddesbo extends contract in BarcelonaIn the middle of the two VELUX EHF Champions League quarter-finals against AG Kobenhavn, Jesper Noddesbo has extended his contract with FC Barcelona Intersport for two additional years until 2014. The Danish pivot arrived in 2007 at the Catalan side and was the key player in last season’s victorious VELUX EHF Champions League Final against Ciudad Real. The 33-year-old Noddesbo has so far won 12 titles with Barcelona, including the Spanish championships in 2011. "I am very pleased to renew my contract and I hope I can continue to help the team," Noddesbo was quoted on the club website. TEXT: Björn Pazen |
