Home side H.A.C. Handball have won the EHF Women's Challenge Cup 2011/12 despite losing 30:27 to Muratpasa Belediyesi at the Docks Oceane in Le Havre, France.

The result means that H.A.C. Handball win 63:57 on aggregate, following their first leg victory in Turkey, 36:27, last Sunday (6th May).

The hosts were ahead by two goals at half-time, but bearing in mind their clear advantage after the first leg, H.A.C. Handall could lose the return match, but still win the Challenge Cup final, which is the team's first ever European Cup title.

The Le Havre-based club continued the tradition of a French club winning after Mios Biganos won the final against Muratpasa last year.
