After a good season with Budapest Bank-Békéscsabai ENK SE and for Montenegro on the national team front, Jasna Tošković decided to leave Hungary for a move to France.

Tošković signed a one year contract with Issy Paris Handball, the French runners-up in the domestic league.

“I am very happy to join a club like Issy Paris Handball and especially because I will have the chance to play in the qualification for EHF Champions League,” said Tošković , the 23-year-old right back.

Tošković started playing with Budućnost and was part of the national team through all the age categories.

In 2008, she moved to the Serbian outfit Naisa, where she played for three seasons and in the summer of 2011 she moved to Hungary.

She was part of Montenegro team at the 2011 World Women's Handball Championship in Brazil.

Dreaming of Olympic glory

She is currently training with the Montenegrin national team whichis preparing for the Olympic Games in London. Tošković will be trying to make her mark over the next few weeks to be in with a chance of making the 14 players squad.

"Throughout the past season and during the off-season, I worked hard preparing for the Olympics games. I hope to present myself in the best possible way during the preparation period," she said.

"The Olympics Games are the dream of every athlete; most athletes only have one chance to take part in the Olympics. I am hoping for the best. If I don’t make the final pick, I will at least have had all the right training for next season,” added Tošković.

Issy Paris Handball will play against Zvezda (RUS) and HC Leipzig (GER) in an additional qualification tournament.
