24 team will be drawn into groups to battle it out for a chance to play at the VELUX EHF FINAL4


VELUX EHF Champions League Group Phase draw

The draw for both the Women's Champions League Group Matches and the VELUX EHF Champions League Group Phase 2012/13 will be held on 6 July 2012 from 1100 hrs at the adidas headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany.

The Women's Champions League Group Matches will start commence at 1100 hrs followed by the draw for the VELUX EHF Champions League Group Phase.

Draw procedure

24 teams will be drawn into four groups of six teams for the Men's VELUX EHF Champions League Group Phase.

Five teams are hitherto unknown; these teams will be the respective winners of the VELUX EHF Champions League qualification round and wildcard tournament winners. Further information can be found here.

Teams are protected by the country of origin rule, i.e. no two teams from the same country can be drawn in the same Group. This rule does not apply to the wildcard qualifier.
