Sweden defend their title

Sweden are the old and new Women's Junior World Champion.

In a thrilling final against the French squad, the Swedes confirm their title.

In front of 1,000 spectators in the Sareza Hall in Ostrava (Czech Republic), Sweden won the final (29:22) and were able to celebrate their next title.

The Swedes did not lose a single match during the whole tournament.

The silver medal went to France.

The team of Hungary won the bronze medal. 

In the 3/4 play-off final, they defeated Serbia with 26:24 after extra-time and celebrated the third place.
