2012/13 Men’s Challenge Cup Draw PreviewOn Tuesday 24 July 2012 at 11:00hrs (local time) five competitions will be drawn in the EHF Headquarters, Vienna (AUT). The draw decides which fixtures from the first two rounds played in all five competitions. It is a public event, which is free and open to anyone who wishes to attend. The draw of the 2012/13 Men’s Challenge Cup will be the second draw of the five to take place. Procedure Round 2 In Round 2, eight teams fight for four places in the next round. They will be drawn into two groups (Group A, Group B) of four teams, where they play a tournament in Round-robin format. These two tournaments take place from 12 to 14 October 2012 with the two first ranked teams of each group proceeding in the competition. The draw of the Round 2 Groups will be followed by a separate draw to determine the organization rights in the two tournaments. Pots Round 2

Pot 3 Procedure Round 3 In Round 3, 20 teams – including the qualifiers from Round 2 – will meet in a knock out stage. The first leg will be played on 24/25 November, the second leg matches one week later on 1/2 December 2012. Pots Round 3

Pot 2 Next steps The winners proceed to the next stage, where they are placed together with the six top seeded teams in the Last 16. The fixtures will be drawn on Thursday 6 December 2012. Find more information on the 2012/13 Men’s Challenge Cup here.
