Byåsen´s Nøstvold out for weeks
Trondheim´s hopes of making it through to the Women´s EHF Champions League Group Matches suffered a major blow after Norwegian international Tonje Nøstvold had sustained a shoulder injury and will be unable to play. The 27 year old right back and gold medallist from London Olympics picked up the injury in last weekend´s match against Levanger in the domestic league, and now she is looking at a break of at least a couple of weeks.
“This is bad news, but there is really nothing we can do about it!” Byåsen´s head coach Valery Putans told the Norwegian newspaper Adresseavisen.
