Television stations across Europe to show 26 EHF EURO 2014 qualification matches


Qualification matches broadcast live across Europe

Handball will be broadcast live all across Europe when the qualification for the Men’s EHF EURO 2014 throws off from 31 October to 4 November.

Overall 26 matches from Qualification Round 1 and Round 2 will be shown with 10 matches to be broadcast by a host nation’s broadcaster and also by a second TV channel in the visiting team’s country.

For example, when Olympic gold medallist and world champion France face Lithuania on 1 November not only French fans can follow their team on  Sport+ but also Lithuanian supporters can watch all the action on Viasat.

All times are local and the broadcast schedule is correct as of 9 October 2012. Handball fans are advised to check local TV listings in case of any changes or earlier broadcast times.

This is the second stage of the qualification for the Men’s EHF EURO 2014 in Denmark.

The remaining playing dates are:
Round 3: 3-4 April 2013
Round 4: 6-7 April 2013
Round 5: 12-13 June 2013
Round 6: 15-16 June 2013

The first and second ranked teams from each of the seven qualification groups qualify for the final tournament. The best third ranked team from all groups also qualifies, taking into account matches against first and second ranked teams.
