As part of their plans to host matches in the EHF EURO 2016, candidate city and Polish champions Vive Targi Kielce have unveiled plans to build the Vive Targi Arena.

The new venue looks likely to be located close to Kielce Trade Fairs, and vice-president of Vive Targi Kielce Marian Urban said: “It would be a very good place to build. There is infrastructure which is still to be developed.”

A Slovenian company - which also designed Veszprem Arena and Zlatorog Arena - which are hosting matches in this season’s VELUX EHF Champions League - is responsible for the new hall project in Kielce. The new facility will have a seating capacity of 8,227 and will cost approximately 20 million €.
