Five EHF EURO 2014 qualifiers to be streamed live on ehfTVFor the first time qualification matches for the 2014 Men’s EHF European Championship, the European Handball Federation’s flagship event, will be streamed live on via EHF’s online TV platform, ehfTV.com. In a new approach to extend the coverage of handball and make European national team matches available to a worldwide audience, a dedicated EHF National Teams Channel has been newly created. Five matches from Qualification Round 1 and Round 2 will be streamed live on the EHF’s dedicated online TV platform between 31 October and 4 November 2012. In the future, the new project is planned to be extended and qualification matches from upcoming qualification rounds in 2013 will also be streamed on ehfTV.com Already every game from the VELUX EHF Champions League and the Women’s EHF Champions League is available on the EHF’s dedicated online TV platform. The matches that have now been chosen for the national team premiere feature some of the best teams in European handball, including 2007 world champions, Germany, 2009 World Championship bronze medallists, Poland, and 2011 World Championship bronze medallists, Spain. The matches to be shown live at ehfTV.com: Poland vs Netherlands on Wednesday, 31 October, at 18:00 hrs. CET Spain vs Portugal on Thursday, 1 November, at 12.30 hrs. CET Germany vs Montenegro, 1 November, at 19:00 hrs. CET Switzerland vs Spain, 4 November, 16:00 hrs. CET Israel vs Germany, 4 November, 18:45 hrs. CET The schedule is correct as of 25 October 2012. All matches will be available on demand afterwards. Geo-blocking might apply in certain markets. This is the second stage of the qualification for the Men’s EHF EURO 2014.
