Another Polish side KSS Kielce succeeded in Thessaloniki, Greece as they beat the home side AC PAOK in both encounters – 18:31, 23:25.

The first ever appearance of the young prospects of Italian handball from the national federation´s project Esercito FIGH Futura Roma in the European cup competition ended with a defeat 18:27 against Sweden´s H65 Höör and set a difficult objective to win the second leg in Italy at least by nine goals.
