Serbia star in video while Denmark feel the vibe

Just 20 days to go until the Women's EHF EURO 2012 throws off. Here is the round up of the day's stories


The 2012 Women's EHF European Championship in Serbia (4 to 16 December) is less than three weeks away and while the countdown to the throw-off continues to tick down, the number of stories on the host nation and the 16 participating teams steadily increases.

Every afternoon the European Handball Federation publishes a brief summary of the stories that have gone online on the EHF EURO 2012's dedicated website ehf-euro.com in the past 24 hours.


EHF EURO 2012 promotional video is released
The 2012 Women's EHF European Championship is fast approaching. And all those who do not like to wait until the official throw off, can get a glimpse of what the action will be like in the event's official video. Watch out for Serbia's women's team suddenly changing their handball gear to fancy evening dresses. See the video here.




Good vibrations in Denmark
Danish coach Jan Pytlick chose a 20 player squad for the Møbelringen Golden League in Bergen, Norway from 23 - 25 November. The squad is largely made of young players who pulled off a surprise victory at the Golden League tournament in Aarhus earlier this autumn. Read more here.

 


Miranda Tatari misses EHF EURO and requires surgery
ehf-euro.com spoke to Podravka player and Croatian captain Miranda Tatari about her latest injury, which will keep her out of action for a number of months. A boost for handball in Serbia
With the support of the European Handball Federation RSS recently bought more than 1,000 handball balls from the EHF's official ball supplier, adidas, and the EHF stocked up this supply by another several hundred balls that are already on their way to Serbia. About 2,000 balls will then be distributed to handball clubs all around Serbia. Read more here.
