Three teams secure Main Round berth on day two

Every afternoon the European Handball Federation publishes a brief summary of the stories that have gone online on the EHF EURO 2012's dedicated website ehf-euro.com. This is the summary from the past 24 hours.

The 2012 Women's EHF European Championship in Serbia (4 to 16 December) is well underway, and as the tournament progresses, the number of stories on the host nation and the 16 participating teams steadily increases.

Riegelhuth-Koren is living her dream
The clock was ticking and Serbia threatened to claw victory from the jaws of defeat against reigning Women's EHF European Champions Norway in their EHF EURO 2012 opener, when Linn-Kristin Riegelhuth Koren scored a trademark goal from the right wing to bury the host nation's hopes of staging a major upset in their Preliminary Round Group A clash on Tuesday. The official team rosters of all 16 EHF EURO participants were announced on Monday 3 December, and today (Wednesday 5 December) saw the final two players added to take the total of players at EHF EURO 2012 to 256. Click here.
