Women´s Challenge Cup Last 16, first leg preview

The Czech derby between Sokol Písek and DHK Baník Most will start the schedule of the Women’s Challenge Cup Last 16 on Friday, 1 February. After the first leg in Písek the domestic rivals will move for the Sunday´s second leg to Most.

Two more quarter-finalists will be known on Sunday as Politehnika Koszalin hosts both matches against ABU Baku in Poland and the second Polish club KSS Kielce will travel for both legs to France to clash with the 2011 Challenge Cup winners Mios Biganos.

In other weekend games Succes Schoonmaak/VOC Amsterdam from the Netherlands will meet Sweden´s H 65 Höör and Serbia´s ŽRK Maks-Sport-Nova Pazova will play against Fantasyland – Samobor from Croatia.

In three cases both legs will be played only during the second weekend (9/10 February) as one of the highlight will be the double-header of 2001 and 2009 trophy winners from HBC Nimes, France against Ukraine´s Spartak Kiev, the former European powerhouse and 13 times Champions Cup winners.
