Women´s Challenge Cup Last 16, second leg previewThe top attraction of the second weekend (9/10 February) of the Women´s Challenge Cup Last 16 will take place in Nimes. The French club HBC will host both matches against Spartak Kiev in an attempt to get closer to the third trophy in this competition after their successes in 2001 and 2009. On the other hand, after decades of mediocre performances in the European club competitions, the Ukrainian team would like to rekindle the glorious past crowned with 13 titles of the Champions Cup. Three clubs - AZS Politechnika Koszalin, KSS Kielce (both from Poland) and Baník Most (Czech Republic) already clinched their quarter-finals berths over the the last weekend. And two more team are on the right track to follow them as they both took six goal victory from the opponents court – H 65 Höör, Sweden succeeded in the first leg against Succes Schoonmaak/VOC in Amsterdam and Croatia´s Fantasyland Samobor won in Serbia over home team ŽRK Maks-Sport Nova Pazova. Another ex-Yugoslavian derby will be played in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina as the home team ŽRK Zrinjski host both legs against Macedonian ŽRK Kumanovo. The double-match between FETA EPIRUS Anagennisi Artas (GRE) and Üsküdar B.S.K. will be played in Istanbul.
