All four pots for Last 16 draw completed

All question marks answered before Sunday in the VELUX EHF Champions League as León and Szeged took the last two tickets to knock-out stage and Hamburg and Veszprém clinched the top positions.

Nine countries will be represented in the VELUX EHF Champions League Last 16, as all remaining pieces of a puzzle have been put together before last three Sunday matches of Group Phase.

The draw of the first knock-out stage on the way to the VELUX EHF FINAL4 2013 will take place on Tuesday, 26 February, at 12:30 hrs local time in Vienna and it will be live streamed on ehfTV.com.

The defending champions of the European top flight THW Kiel will enter the draw from the Pot 2 and will face one of the following three teams: Chekhovski Medvedi, Gorenje Velenje or Dinamo Minsk.

The record title holders of the elite continental club competition FC Barcelona will be seeded in Pot 1 and their potential opponents are Ademar León, Celje Pivovarna Laško and Bjerringbro Silkeborg.

A fourth ranked team of the Group Phase will play the first match at home against a first ranked team except against the winner of its own group of the Group Phase.

A third ranked team of the Group Phase will play the first match at home against the second ranked team except against the second ranked team of its own group of the Group Phase.

There will be no protection from teams of the same country, what means that Barcelona can meet León and Veszprém can face Szeged in the Last 16.

The first leg is scheduled for 13-17 March, the second leg will be played 20-24 March. The winning teams of the Last 16 qualify for the Quarter-finals.
