Preview of the Women´s Challenge Cup Quarter-finals, first legSix teams, including the 2001 and 2009 winners, will play their first leg matches of the Women´s Challenge Cup Quarter-finals over the upcoming weekend (9-10 March). Polish side KKS Kielce agreed to play both legs on the court of the Turkish outfit Üsküdar B.S.K. in Istanbul during the second weekend. The semi-finals are scheduled for 6/7 April (first leg) and 13/14 April (second leg).
H 65 Höör (SWE) vs HBC Nimes (FRA) Sweden is the next stop for HBC Nimes on their quest for the third trophy in the Women´s Challenge Cup. The biggest favourites of the whole competition will play the first leg of the quarter-finals on the court of H 65 Höör.
ŽRK "Zrinjski" Mostar (BIH) vs Fantasyland – Samobor (CRO) If Nimes succeed their next destination will be Balkan as their (or Höör´s) opponent will come out of the ex-Yugoslavian derby between Mostar and Samobor.
HK Baník Most (CZE) vs AZS Politechnika Koszalin (POL) The leaders of the joint Czecho-Slovak league will play host to the fourth placed team of the Polish Superleague in their second attempt to break through to the top four of the Challenge Cup. Last year they were stopped in the quarter-finals by the eventual winners HAC Havre.
