BLOG: Teams with rising performance are the most dangerous

The playmaker of Györi Audi ETO KC and Serbian national team writes about the upcoming semi-final matches against Oltchim and also invites for her brand new handball camp.

BLOG: Teams with rising performance are the most dangerous

Dear friends - handball fans. It has been a long time since I wrote something last time, but I am sure you understand that as it was really busy winter for me. I have already started countdown - 13, 12, 11 ... seven days. You won’t be wrong if you think that this is a number of days to the first semi-final match in Romania against Oltchim.

I can’t remember any season like this, it has been simply flying away very quickly. Behind us there are twelve fantastic victories. We are still unbeaten in the EHF Champions League, but also in the domestic championship.

But I don’t like when most of the people think that we can take the European trophy for granted. That could be really dangerous for us. Despite fantastic months behind us, we are still only at the beginning. Most difficult matches are still ahead of us.

I have heard that we will play in Bucharest because the hall is bigger there. I adore to play in front of the great number of fans. That gives something special to our sport. Hopefully, history will be repeated and Györ will qualify for the final like the last year. Romanians are really big handball fanatics, great fans. It is always pleasure to play in front of the supporters like that.

And if you want to know more about our preparation for the match – I can’t tell you anything. We just began to work on it…

Teams with rising performance are the most dangerous – and that team is Oltchim. We will host the home match in Veszprém and everyone asks for the tickets, it will be a totally frenzied atmosphere in the second leg.

It’s not necessary to write how much I would like to have that trophy in my hand at the end of the season.

Let’s say also something about our national team. We just played 1:1 against Macedonia. All the girls are aware that we have to play much better if we want to win the medal at WCh 2013 – again on the home court in Belgrade.

By the way, I have decided to start project of handball camp for kids. I didn’t even dream how serious job it is. That is something in which I see myself after the end of playing career. I believe in that idea and that makes me really happy. The camp will be held from 5 to 14 July in one beautiful Serbian Spa - Vrnjacka Banja. A team of coaches and other experts will take care about all the details. I invite you to take a part and promise – I will be an animator.
