Time to transfer in the VELUX handball manager game
Over 5,000 people took part in the opening rounds of the VELUX handball manager game, which began alongside the VELUX EHF Champions League Last 16.
The game was brought to all handball fans by the title sponsor of the VELUX EHF Champions League – the VELUX Group, who have provided a number of prizes for the best managers, including VIP and season tickets to your favourite club and signed match jerseys.
Although the first two rounds have been completed, there is still time to enter for all those who have not yet joined the party.
The game itself is not rocket science and fans do not need to be handball experts to take part and succeed.
It is also time for managers to make their final changes ahead of the quarter-final matches, with the deadline at 19:00 CET on 20 April.
The overall leading team increased their value to 51,557,350 after the opening two rounds with Spanish influence from two Barcelona and two Atlético Madrid players. However, changes will need to be made after the fourth round, as one of the two teams will be out of the competition.
Here are some of the statistics from the opening two rounds to bear in mind when selecting your team:
Hans Lindberg is the most expensive player at 11,220,000 and is followed by Filip Jicha and Kiril Lazarov.
The player who made the highest increase in overall value was Kiel’s Momir Ilic, followed by Raul Enterrios and Holger Glandorf.
Laszlo Nagy was the most popular player in the last round, being selected in 18.04% of the participating teams.
Ahead of the third round, HSV Hamburg’s Domagoj Duvnjak is currently the most popular player, with fans expecting him to shine against SG Flensburg-Handewitt.
Do not forget to join the “Beat the Legend – Lars Christiansen” league for your chance to take on Christiansen’s selection and win a signed match jersey. Join the league here.
