Meet the presenters for the final weekendThree well-known faces have been confirmed as presenters for the biggest handball spectacle of the year as Anett Sattler, Markus Floth and Kristina Inhof will be part of the show at the VELUX EHF FINAL4 in Cologne (1/2 June 2013). While Sattler and Floth will guide the 20,000 fans in the LANXESS arena through the entertainment programme and the award ceremony, Inhof will take over interaction with fans in the stands plus social media and Fan TV in the arena. "We are very pleased with this composure of our new presenters team. The personalities of all three hosts underline the fresh, dynamic and youthful spirit of our event," VELUX EHF FINAL4 team leader David Szlezak said. Anett Sattler Sattler is a renowned TV presenter in Germany. She has been hosting live transmissions of German Bundesliga matches on SPORT1 in a tandem with legendary Stefan Kretzschmar. She has a strong ties with handball not only as a journalist, but also as a former player. She started with handball at the age of four and had been playing for 22 years. In addition she was involved in the sport for several years as a youth coach and a referee.
Markus Floth Raised in London, Markus Floth completed his education as a presenter with the BBC. In Austria he made a name for himself presenting shows with various private radio broadcasters and presented his own shows on television with VIVA and MTV.
He makes his third trip to the LANXESS arena after he made a debut at the event in 2011 and returned last year. He has been a part of big handball tournaments since 2010, when he joined the EHF EURO in Austria. In the world of premium sport products Floth was also involved in the German Soccer Bundesliga, tennis ATP Tour tournaments or recently at the Olympic Games in London. Kristina Inhof will be a newcomer at the handball top class event as the main field of her professional focus in sport has been in the UEFA Champions League so far as she co-hosted the matches for the Austrian TV station PULS 4. Still, Inhof has a vital handball background as she went through the youth system of the Austrian powerhouse and four-time EHF Champions League winners Hypo Niederösterreich. TEXT: EHF / br |
