Mixed Zone: KS Vive Targi Kielce vs. FC Barcelona Intersport

Gregorz Tkaczyk , KS Vive Targi Kielce – player:
“You could see that Barcelona is a great team. We gave all we could, but unfortunately it was not enough. A special thanks to our fans for creating such a super atmosphere. Tomorrow we’ll do our best to win this game.”

Bogdan Wenta, KS Vive Targi Kielce – coach:
“This game has shown that we have not that strong mentally yet. As a debutant we have shown some nerves and consequently lost this game."

Ivan Cupic, KS Vive Targi Kielce – player:
“Barcelona had a great game, during 60 minutes and we didn't. It was tough, we trained so hard to achieve the FINAL4.”

Michal Jurecki, KS Vive Targi Kielce – player:
“Barcelona played a better defence than we did. Especially on me, I tried the best I could, but I had no easy shots. I am very disappointed.

“Thanks to the fans, they are the best. We will give everything tomorrow to finish this tournament with a victory.”

Manuel Strlek, KS Vive Targi Kielce - player:
“We entered the game very well. We were concentrated and entered the game eager to win. I think we gave a good game, despite the goal difference and the score. We showed that we deserve to be here in the finals. Today it wasn’t enough, but hopefully tomorrow will.

“I am slightly disappointed, as expected, but tomorrow we have to put our heads together and give it all we have. Barcelona is more experienced, and that could be seen throughout the game. I congratulate them on their good play.

“I want to say special thanks to our fans who were very supportive during the game, but also throughout the season. Kielce has just started uprising, we are looking forward to the new arena that will help bring the club to a new level.”

Cedric Sorhaindo, FC Barcelona Intersport - player:
“It was really close; especially at the beginning of the second half.

“We were leading with three goals, and Kielce managed to come back in one minute. I have no particular favourite opponent for the final. The winner will be the team who will make the least mistakes.”

Arpad Sterbik, FC Barcelona Intersport - player:
“It was a good game in the sense we controlled the result during the game. We finished the game with a high score. It might be seen as a confirmation to all the sayings of us being the favourites. However, people who say that don’t really follow the score.

“Kielce is a great team, with great Croatian players who came from the Bundesliga, alongside the great Krzysztof Lijewski. I congratulate them on a good fight. Now we have to focus on tomorrow’s game. It will be a tough game whoever we play against but we won’t make any calculations. We will prepare for the game and give our best, like today.”
