"In the first half, we played very well but in the second half, we had some hard moments. Nevertheless, I am very happy." "I want to thank my team and our fans who created a great atmosphere in the arena." Alfred Gislason (coach, THW Kiel): "We had a very bad start and we played very badly. I think that one can say that Kielce was the much better team." "In the second half, we slowly managed to turn the match around and I think that we were much better in the second half." "I think that my teams would have deserved a draw and a possible extra-time." "Anyway, congratulations to Kielce." "Obviously, we are very sad that we did not win but we did not play good enough to do so." Filip Jicha (player, THW Kiel): "It is very hard to play after a defeat. We came to Cologne with very high expectations." "It’s been a long time since I have seen such a sad team at breakfast or on our way to the arena. This had some influence on our first half." "We managed to turn the match around in the second half but it was not enough." "A FINAL4 is always very special. You have to play on top over two days and we could not do that this year."
