Berlin to host the first leg of the Wild Card KO match

HSV Hamburg will start their title defence in the VELUX EHF Champions League away from their court as the draw at the EHF Office decided on Friday that their opponents in the Wild Card knock-out match Füchse Berlin will host the first leg.

The second leg will be played in Hamburg as only the winner on aggregate score will qualify for the Group Phase of the premier European club competition and will be seeded in Pot 6 for Friday evening’s draw. The loser will move to the third qualifying round of the EHF Cup.

The playing dates of both legs of the Wild Card knock-out match will be announced in the coming days.
