Hosts for three qualification tournaments confirmed

The venues for three tournaments of the Women’s EHF Champions League Qualification 2 have been confirmed by the EHF.

Group 2 will be played in FTC Elek Gyula Arena in Budapest, Hungary, Group 3 will take place in Baia Mare, Romania and Group 4 will be hosted by hall Palasele in Eboli, Italy.

HCM Baia Mare (ROU) and Jomi Salerno (ITA) had the 1st right to organise tournaments according to the respective draw on 27 June 2013, in case of Group 2 LK Zug Handball passed the right to FTC Rail Cargo Hungaria.

The local organiser of Group 1 will be confirmed later.

The exact playing times of the matches will be co-ordinated by the EHFM with all partners concerned while further details regarding organisational issues regarding the tournament will be communicated in due time.

The Qualification Tournaments will be played over the weekend 14 and 15 September 2013.

Only the winner of each tournament qualifies directly for the Women’s EHF Champions League Group Matches.

14 September 2013 – semi-finals matches:
Byasen Trondheim vs. Tertnes Bergen
HC Leipzig vs. BNTU-BelAZ Minsk Region
15 September 2013 final for rank 3/4 and final for rank 1/2

Group 2

14 September 2013 – semi-finals matches:
FTC Rail Cargo Hungaria vs. HC Lokomotiva Zagreb
Erd vs. LK Zug Handball
15 September 2013 final for rank 3/4 and final for rank 1/2

Organiser: FTC Rail Cargo Hungaria (hall FTC Elek Gyula Arena in Budapest)

Group 3

14 September 2013 - semi-finals matches:
HCM Baia Mare vs. Viborg HK
Team Tvis Holstebro vs. Winner Q1 Dalfsen/Muratpasa
15 September 2013 final for rank 3/4 and final for rank 1/2

Group 4

14 September 2013 – semi-finals matches:
Rostov Don vs. Fleury Loiret Handball
WHC Vardar SCBT vs. Jomi Salerno
15 September 2013 final for rank 3/4 and final for rank 1/2
