Dalfsen clinch the trip to Baia Mare

SERCODAK Dalfsen easily sailed past Muratpasa Belediyesi SK in the opening qualification stage of the Women's EHF Champions League as the Dutch champions won both matches of the knock-out affair despite playing both legs over the weekend in Antalya, Turkey.

Qualification 1, second leg:

Muratpasa Belediyesi SK vs SERCODAK Dalfsen 24:34 (12:15)

First leg: 31:34, aggregate score 55:68

Sharina Van Dort led her team with six goals and Dalfsen recorded a marvelous second half as the dreams of the Turkish champions were left in ruins. Both Olga Laiuk and Yasemin Sahin responded with six goals to Van Dort's output, but could not stop the SERCODAK's gale of goals after the break.

Dalfsen will play in the Qualification Group 3 in Baia Mare, Romania (14-15 September) and will face the reigning EHF Cup winners Team Tvis Holstebro in the semi-final. The hosts and another Danish powerhouse Viborg HK will play in the other semi-final.
