16 teams trying to follow first two

Already last weekend, HC Meshkov Brest and HBC Ronal Jičín qualified for the second qualification round of the Men's EHF Cup through clear wins in both legs against Maccabi Rishon-Lezion and HC Dobrujda. This weekend the nine remaining ties are going to find their winners.

The most open match seems to be in Lithuania Saturday, where Klaipeda Dragunas are receiving Handball Kaerjeng from Luxembourg after a 30:30 draw in the first match.

In Belgium, Achilles Bocholt have some catching up to do Saturday when taking on Grundfos Tatabánya KC who won the first leg at home in Hungary as clearly as 30:22.

Things are also looking a bit gloomy for TSV Otmar St. Gallen who are down 21:29, before Slovakian HC Sporta Hlohovec visit the Swiss team Sunday.

Two home teams, who have the upper hand, are Fyllingen Bergen, who are up 30:27 before receiving Estonian Pölva Serviti Sunday, and Bregenz Handball, who lead 28:22 after away match against KH Prishtina from Kosovo.

In the remaining three ties, both legs will be carried out this weekend. That goes for the encounter OCI Lions (NED) vs Haukar (ISL) where both matches are played in Iceland, the meeting between London GD Handball Club (GBR) vs B. B. Ankara Spor (TUR) where both legs take place in Turkey, and finally Maccabi “Tyrec” Tel Aviv (ISR) vs HC Lovcen Cetinje (MNE) with both games in Israel.
