STATS REVIEW: Facts and figures of the first seven Rounds of the VELUX EHF Champions League Group Phase, as the competition has finished for 2013


Goals, points, numbers

84 of the 120 Group Phase matches are over and the first decisions regarding the knock-out stage had already been taken before the EHF EURO 2014 break.

After the completion of Round 7 and the last matches of the competition in 2013, here are the most important facts and figures on the entire Group Phase, which will resume 5 February 2014.

VELUX EHF Champions League in numbers:
1 team won all respective seven matches: MKB-MVM Veszprém (HUN)
1 team still wait for their first point: St. Petersburg HC (RUS)
1 match ended with less than 40 goals: Dunkerque vs. KIF Kolding-Kobenhavn (18:20)
2 teams are still unbeaten: MKB-MVM Veszprém (HUN) and FC Barcelona (ESP)
4 times Barcelona won their matches by a difference of ten or more goals.
5 matches by now ended with a draw, including two draws of Vardar Skopje.
