New design for EHF EURO website

NEWS REPORT: Just before the 2014 European Championship throws off in Denmark, we have given the event's official website a new look and added some cool features

Face-lift for EHF EURO website

With just five days to go until Europe's best handball teams take to the court at the EHF EURO 2014 in Denmark, the event's official website, www.ehf-euro.com, has received a new sparkling look.

Direct access to the EHF EURO social media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter and Youtube, photo galleries and a new live blog are just some of the features that make the site the 'go to'-place for the final tournament that takes place from 12 to 26 January 2014.

Fans will see a large news section when they first enter the website. With the EHF Media Team on site in Denmark from 8 January onwards, news from across all four playing venues - Herning, Aalborg, Aarhus and Copenhagen - as well as constant updates on the 16 participating teams will be flowing in throughout the coming three weeks.

An archive in the news section enables users to access all articles that have been published, for example, during the EHF EURO 2014 Qualification.

The team section gives fans an overview of all 16 participating teams including some of their key players and past achievements at EHF EURO events.

The event zone is the place where fans can find information related to the tournament, including the venues, the officials and referees nominated and EHF EURO history.

Of course, tickets (link goes straight to the ticket shop) can still be purchased via the new website.

The media section offers the accredited journalists necessary information related to the event. This section will be further increased in the days to come.

Through 'multimedia' all EHF EURO related videos and photos can accessed. During the tournament the EHF's photographers and its video team will supply daily content for this section.

The right hand column gives users access to the EHF EURO Twitter and the tournament's Facebook page.

It is also the place where the live blog, a new EHF EURO feature, will appear shortly before the championship throws off.
