Denmark remain perfect as they beat Spain

In their effort to redeem themselves for the defeat by 16 goals in the last year's World Championship Final against Spain the Danish team defeated their rivals 31:28 in the opening day of the main round Group I in Herning on Saturday.

For Spain, who have not used the recovered star Julen Aguinagalde yet, it was their first loss at the tournament. While their goalkeepers combined only for three saves, Niklas Landin served the14,000 spectators in the Jyske Bank Boxen arena with one excellent save after another.

In the first game of Saturday Hungary moved to three points after they beat FYR Macedonia 31:25, but Iceland quickly caught up with their rivals from the prelimary group in Aalborg as they beat Austria 33:27. While Macedonians can still dream about semi-final, Austria has already lost the chance for a top four position.
