2011 winners meet Virto/Quintus in the quarter-final

On the way to emulate the success from the 2010/11 season Union Mios Biganos-Begles have to cope with the next hurdle in form of Dutch side Virto/Quintus, after Tuesday's draw determined not only all four quarter-finals pairings of the Women's Challenge Cup but also the semi-final fixtures.

The draw took place at the EHF Office in Vienna and was carried out by the EHF Secretary General Michael Wiederer together with Ivar Thoresen, the technical delegate of the European Police Sport Union.

In the other quarter-final pairings the second French team, Issy Paris Hand, will play against DHC Slavia Praha from the Czech Republic.

Serbia's HC BMS Milenium will face Ukraine's Galytchanka Lviv and last season's semi-finalists, H65 Höör from Sweden, will test the hot court of the Turkish side GSK Ardesen, where 8,500 spectators watched two Last 16 matches last weekend.

If the winners of the 2011 Challenge Cup succeed in the quarter-final, they will face the winners of the match between Issy Paris Hand and DHC Slavia Praha.

The first quarter-final leg is scheduled for 1/2 March, the second leg will follow one week later (8/9 March).

The first leg matches of the semi-finals will be played on 5/6 April and the second leg on 12/13 April.
