Agren to miss a trip to RussiaBuxtehuder SV will travel to the first leg match of the Women's Cup Winners' Cup Quarter-final without their top scorer in this season as Ulrika Agren was banned for one match by the EHF Court of Handball. The German team will play the first leg on court of Rostov Don in Russia on Saturday 1 March, the second leg will follow one week later in Germany. The EHF Court of Handball has reached a decision following disciplinary proceedings against Agren. The line player was directly disqualified for having prevented an execution of a throw-off during the last minute of the Last 16 match (2nd leg) vs. Hungary's Érd Handball Club, which took place on 18 February 2014. An appeal to the EHF Court of Appeal shall not have any suspensive effects. TEXT: EHF / br |
