The third edition of the conference for physical education teachers takes place from 5 to 7 June in the Polish city


"Handball at school" goes to Kielce

After the good experiences and results from the "Handball at school" conferences in 2010 and 2012, the Polish Handball Federation in close cooperation with the Swietokrzyskie In-service Teacher Training Centre, the KS Vive Targi Kielce and the Swietokrzyski Regional Handball Federation will organise the conference's third edition for physical education teachers from 5 to 7 June 2014 in Kielce, Poland.

This conference is organized under the auspices of European Handball Federation (EHF).

The classes will be conducted by the Spanish EHF lecturer Juan Lorenzo Anton Garcia and the highest class Polish lecturers.

The three-day conference has been designed for physical education teachers who, by making use of the universality of handball, want to learn about the newest and most interesting methods practiced during work with children and teenagers.

The key theme of the conference is: "Technique is the most important"

The main objectives of the conference are:

  • Presentation of the latest achievements concerning theory and methodology of teaching  handball,
  • Promoting handball as an attractive form of physical activity for children and the youth
  • Skill-sharing and discussion,
  • Integration of the physical education teachers’ community.
