Registration starts for Women's World Championship 2015 Qualification

The European Handball Federation has started the registration process for the European qualification matches leading towards the Women's World Championship 2015 in Denmark.

The deadline for registration in 30 May 2014.

According to the currently valid regulations the three best ranked teams from the Women's EHF EURO 2014 will qualify directly for the final tournament.

On top there are seven more spots available which will be decided in the first (home and away group matches) and second qualification phase (play-offs) of the qualification process.

However, depending on the number of federations registering, the number of teams directly qualifying teams might be changed in order to secure an appropriate playing system in Phase 1.

A respective decision would be taken by the EHF once the registration process is concluded.

The draw for the first qualification phase is expected to take place in June 2014, the play-offs will be played in June 2015. The final tournament throws off in Denmark from 5 to 20 December 2015.
