American Authors will rock the EHF Cup FinalsEntertainment is sure to happen not only but also off the court when the EHF Cup Finals throw off at Berlin’s Max-Schmeling-Halle the upcoming weekend. In cooperation with Universal Music the event’s hosts, Füchse Berlin, have now signed US Indie-Rock band “American Authors” to play on 18 May ahead of the final. American Authors’ song, “Best Day of My Life” has been downloaded 1,5 million times and already achieved platinum status. In Germany the band has reached sixth rank at Radiotrends and is expected to break into the Airplay-charts' Top 10 by Friday. "We are proud that we signed such high-profile artists for the tournament. I really thank Universal Music that they made this happen," said Füchse Manager Bob Hanning. Besides from American Authors' appearance on Sunday a huge opening show on Saturday as will as further artists and music acts will get everyone in the right mood on 17 and 18 May. Outside the hall there will be lots of fan activities taking place. The Max-Schmeling-Halle opens 90 minutes ahead of the first match on both days. Füchse Berlin face Pick Szeged at 14:35 hrs and HCM Constanta play Montpellier Agglomeration HB at 17:15 hrs on Saturday, 17 May 2014 for the semi-finals. The final throws off at 15:35 hrs on Sunday.
