Three-match bans for Shevelev, Zvizej and ZormanThe EHF Court of Handball has released three decisions following disciplinary proceedings against Olexandr Shevelev (UKR), Miha Zvizej (SLO) and Uros Zorman (SLO). The three players were directly disqualified in the 46th minute of the Men’s World Championship2015 Qualification Europe match Slovenia vs. Ukraine which took place on 12 January 2014. All three players will be sanctioned with a three-match suspension for unsportsmanlike conduct based on article B.1 of the EHF List of Penalties and will therefore not be entitled to play the next official EHF competition match of their respective national team. One of those three matches is imposed on a suspended basis with a probation period until June 30, 2015. An appeal to the EHF Court of Appeal shall not have any suspensive effects. TEXT: EHF / ts |
