Carles Puyol follows Barca to Cologne

After making an appearance at his club’s crucial quarter-final victory over Rhein Neckar Löwen in the Palau Blaugrana, FC Barcelona have now confirmed that the legendary football Carles Puyol will travel to Cologne to lend his support.

The captain of FC Barcelona’s football team made his debut for FC Barcelona in 1999 and helped the club to three UEFA Champions League titles and was instrumental in Spain winning the World Cup in 2010. He retired from club football at the end of this season.

Puyol will be in Cologne on 31 May and 1 June as FC Barcelona look to secure their eighth EHF Champions League title.
