"Make me believe" becomes official Men's 20 EHF EURO song16 teams enter the Men's 20 EHF EURO 2014 in the Austrian cities of Linz and Traun from Thursday, 24 July onwards full of belief in themselves and in the fact that they will all give all they have to perform to the best of their abilities. The fitting song for this attitude comes from young Austrian band 'Kaiser Franz Josef' whose song 'Make me believe' has been made the tournament's official song. 'Make me believe' is part of the band's album 'Reign begins' which was released in December 2013. 'Kaiser Franz Josef' were founded in 2010 by their three members Sham, Tom and Can. Already in the same year they played as support act ahead of an AC/DC concert in Wels which was attended by 82,000 fans. Last they participated in Austrian TV show "Die große Chance" and eventually came fifth. Their music is many a time compared to the style of bands such as Led Zeppelin and and Deep Purple. In 2014 they received an the Austrian music award 'Amadeus' in the category 'Rock / Hard & Heavy".
Tournament information The Men’s 20 EHF EURO takes place in the Austrian cities of Linz and Traun from 24 July to 3 August 2014. Austria also hosted the Men’s 18 EHF EURO 2012 when the same generation of players took to the court. Back then Germany won, Sweden came second and Denmark placed third. Austria finished sixth.
