EHF EURO 2014 live blog launches

After a successful launch at the men’s event in January, there will be a live blog running throughout the Women’s EHF EURO 2014. Saturday 6 December signals the launch of the blog, which will be updated in real time every day right up until the end of the championship.

The main purpose of live blogging is to allow the EHF Media team to tell the evolving story of the EHF EURO 2014 in real-time, using a mixture of text, images, video and audio to give extra context for audiences.

This includes content such as breaking news, video content, discussions and comments, the best content from various social media channels as well as user generated content submitted via comments, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and should provide readers with a true view of what the world is saying about the event.

It will also contain near-live footage of the best moments from each game, which cannot be found anywhere else.

A personal touch will be found throughout as the EHF Media team will be posting their experiences during the next 16 days.

The live blog can be found on the official website right now, but will really get going on Saturday. If you are not at home, you can always follow it on the official EHF EURO app, which can be downloaded on iTunes and Google Play.
