NEWS REPORT: Following the main round end the Women's EHF Champions League will resume in April with both legs of the newly installed quarter-finals.


Defending champions await Vardar in the quarter-finals

After the Women's EHF Champions League Main Round concluded on Sunday four more teams ended their campaigns in the European top flight, while best eight teams will prepare for the quarter-final stage, which is part of the playing system for the first time.

The first leg matches of the quarter-finals is scheduled for 4-5 April, the second leg will be played one week later.

Györi Audi ETO KC, the defending champions, will face a challenging task as they take on the third team of the last season, WHC Vardar SCBT.

Buducnost, who reached the final last year and won Group 1 this season, will meet Viborg HK, while Group 2 winners Larvik will be heavy favourites against Thüringer HC.

Dinamo-Sinara and HCM Baia Mare will battle it out for the last ticket to the Women's EHF FINAL4.
