Füchse ready for the Finals
Füchse Berlin are directly qualified for the Men's EHF Cup Finals after their 25:20 at home against Futebol de Clube do Porto Sunday. Füchse Berlin (GER) vs Futebol de Club do Porto (POR) 25:20 (7:8) Füchse can start getting ready to play the EHF Cup Finals in the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin – the same venue, where they qualified for the Finals Sunday through a five-goal win against Porto. The win made Füchse sure to win Group C or finish as one of the three best second-placed teams even with one match day left of the group phase. Just like in their first match against Porto, Füchse had certain starting problems, and the 6,316 spectators saw the visitors being up 8:7 at half-time. In the second half, the home team set things right, though, and take a five-goal win which was more than enough to secure them the group win. The win for Füchse also means that Skjern Handbold are sure to proceed to the quarter-finals. The following four teams are ready for the quarter-finals before the last match day the coming weekend:
HSV Hamburg from Group A
