NEWS REPORT: The semi-final pairings of the final tournament will be determined at the evening event in the Max-Schmeling Halle next Tuesday.

Club managers of the four teams qualified for the 2015 EHF Cup Finals will make their first trip to the tournament's venue already next Tuesday 21 April as the Max-Schmeling Halle in Berlin will host the semi-finals draw, which will determine their second to last hurdles on the way to a precious trophy.

The draw will take place at 18:15 hrs local time and will be preceded by the official press conference (18:00 hrs). The Berlin handball fans will be also able to follow the whole event live in the arena on the Fan TV if they come for the evening's bundesliga game against Bietigheim (19:00 hrs) a little earlier.

Open draw

All four teams will be drawn from the same pot. The EHF Cup Finals draw will be completely open, what means that there is no seeding and two teams from the same country or two teams who already played together in the group phase can face each other.

Both semi-final games will be played on Saturday 16 May, followed by the 3/4 placement match and the final on Sunday 17 May. The playing times will be announced at the press conference on Tuesday.

The EHF will provide the live streaming of the event including post-draw reactions of the club representatives on the ehfTV youtube channel.

Fans will also be able to follow the live ticker on eurohandball.com and via live tweets on the official @ehfmedia channel.

Füchse still waiting for other participants

Füchse Berlin are the only confirmed team of the 2015 EHF Cup Finals as the tournament’s hosts secured their place by winning their group in the group phase. Six teams are still vying for three remaining tickets in the quarter-finals.

Before the second leg, which is scheduled for the upcoming Sunday 19 April none of the teams is firmly in a driving seat.

MT Melsungen have to fight back from the biggest deficit of five goals after their 20:25 defeat at Skjern Handbold, while HSV Hamburg will start the return leg at minus three against Eskilstuna Guif (29:26) and Team Tvis Holstebro are trailing only by one goal in their tie with Gorenje Velenje after their 27:28 defeat last weekend.
