Be the fifth team at the MVM EHF FINAL4!The programme was aimed at Hungarian under-13 girls’ handball teams with one of them being given the opportunity to experience the MVM EHF FINAL4 at the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna. "The aim of the programme is to provide a long-lasting experience to the winning handball team. We hope that opportunities like this increase the children’s love for the sport, as we hope that the next Anita Görbicz is among them," said Csilla Nagy, deputy communications director of MVM. "It’s very important that the children are given a chance to experience through this event what it feels like to be a top handball player. We would like to award teams who find themselves in a difficult financial situation so that the support is a real help for them," said Gábor Mátrai from the Hungarian Handball Federation’s board. On top of the visit to Budapest, the winning team also receives new sport kits and a subscription to the Képes Sport magazine. Applications, for which the clubs had to show their true passion for the sport, were received from all over Hungary. It was a tough job for the jury to choose the winning team, which will be presented at the final’s half-time on Sunday, as all applications proved an almost limitless love for handball. TEXT: EHF |
