Men’s 18 draws to take place in Vienna

NEWS REPORT: Draws for the EHF Men’s 18 EURO and EHF M18 Championship events are to take place on Thursday, 24 and Friday, 25 September 2015.


Men’s 18 draws to take place in Vienna

Europe’s young national team players will learn their fate for next summer’s Younger Age Category events on Thursday, 24 and Friday, 25 September as the draw for the EHF Men’'s 18 EURO and EHF Men's 18 Championship events are made.

EHF M18 Championships

A total of 27 nations will play in three tournaments in the summer of 2016 in Bulgaria, Georgia and Lithuania.

Competing teams are: Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzogovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, Georgia, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Kosovo, Luxembourg, FYR Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine.

The draw will take place at 10:00 hrs on Thursday, 24 September 2015 in the EHF Office, Vienna.

EHF M18 EURO

The EHF Men’s 18 EURO is scheduled to be played in Croatia from 11 to 21 August where 16 teams will play in the tournament.
Teams taking part are:

Pot 1: Denmark, Germany, Sweden and Spain; Pot 2: Slovenia, France, Croatia and Serbia; Pot 3: Portugal, Russia, Norway and Czech Republic; Pot 4: Iceland, Switzerland, Poland and Slovakia

Croatia as host has the right to choose the group after rows 4, 3 and 1 are determined.

The draw will take place on Friday, 25 September 2015 at 09:30 hrs in the EHF Office, Vienna.
