EHF EURO 2016 media accreditation launches

Media representatives are invited to apply for an accreditation for the first major handball highlight of 2016, the Men’s EHF EURO 2016, taking place in Poland in January.

The EHF’s dedicated online accreditation system has been launched and media representatives are now invited to submit their accreditation requests.

The portal can be accessed here: https://apps.st-software.com/ehf-publicregistration

Applications can only be made via the dedicated online accreditation platform provided by the EHF. Email requests will not be processed.

TV, web TV and radio representatives should contact the EHF’s media and marketing partner, Infront Sports & Media before making an application, in order to reach an agreement on the relevant media rights. Infront can be contacted at BSHandball@infrontsports.com.

Media Hotels

The Men’s EHF EURO 2016 Organising Committee has provided a range of media hotels at excellent prices for the event.

A complete list is available in the EHF Media Portal or via email from the EHF Media and Communications Department.

Availability is limited and hotel rooms will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Accreditation deadline

The EHF applies a strict criteria for the issuing of media accreditations and will only accept requests from professional media representatives working at the event for a recognised media outlet.

A valid Press Card and/or AIPS Card may be required. Media representatives, and in particular freelancers, may also be asked to provide additional evidence of their work and previous coverage of handball events.

Deadline for accreditation requests is Friday, 27 November 2015.

Further information on the event taking place 15-31 January 2016 can be found on the official website as well as on the official Facebook Page  and Twitter Channel.
