Four different cities to host four exciting MOTWsLast four stops of the Match of the Week series in 2015 will take place in four different cities in four different countries as Barcelona, Paris, Veszprem and Kiel will host the matches in Rounds 7 to 10. ehfTV.com commentator Tom O'Brannagain will start his autumn premium club handball pilgrimage in Palau Blaugrana, the home court of the defending champions FC Barcelona Lassa, who will take on HC Vardar in Round 7. The top clash of Group B will be followed by a Group A trilogy with three favourites and VELUX EHF FINAL4 hot contenders hosting one game each - Paris Saint-Germain Handball in Round 8, MVM Veszprem in Round 9 and THW Kiel in Round 10.
Round 7:
Tom's quote: "Barcelona has yet to peak but the magic of the Palau is still there as evidenced by their amazing comeback against KIF. Vardar need to show more on the road. Defeat to KIF was a bad one." Tom's quote: "PSG finally go into a match against one of the big teams as favourites. They look very very tidy. Kiel, well scratch your heads and wonder which version will turn up. The good the bad or the "We used to be Kiel"."
Round 9: Tom's quote: "Rematch. Revenge. Nagy back. Zeitz back. Atmosphere, electricity, passion. Can't see the boys from France winning this one. But another learning curve on their way."
Round 10: Tom's quote: "A few years ago a Veszprem win here would be unthinkable. Lately, a Kiel win here is really appreciated. Don't write them off though. The eagle has Landin in goal and he's getting back to his best." TEXT: EHF / br |
