22.11.2015, 06:50 GROUP D REVIEW: Skjern Handbold inch closer to the play-offs with a home win against Elverum. |
||
Skjern second after winning Scandinavian derbySkjern Handbold are alone in second position in Group D with two matches left after winning the Scandinavian derby at home against Elverum Handball Herrer.
The win means that Skjern are on 11 points and need two points in each of their last two matches to be completely secure in qualification for the Last 16 play-offs.
Skjern were missing both their Norwegian players – line player Bjarte Myrhol had stomach problems, while goalkeeper Magnus Dahl was nursing a knee injury. But that did not keep the home team from winning clearly against a Norwegian team who had nothing at stake. TEXT: Peter Bruun / cg |
