Last season's runners-up against 2005 winners in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals

The 2005 Men's Challenge Cup winners Wacker Thun face a difficult task in this season's quarter-final as the Swiss side will meet last edition's runners-up ABC/UMinho from Portugal after the draw at the EHF Office in Vienna have determined all four pairings in next stage.

The draw was conducted by Markus Glaser the EHF Competitions Senior Manager together with Dukla Prague director Vladimir Orsag and Mario Bernardes, the board member of the Portuguese Handball Fderation on Tuesday.

In other pairings Norway's FyllingenBergen take on FIQAS Aalsmeer from the Netherlands, while the second Portuguese quarter-finalists SL Benfica meet Russia's St. Petersburg and the Czech side Dukla Praha lock horns with the second Belgian opponents in a row KV Sasja HC after eliminating HC Vise BM in the Last 16.

The first quarter-final leg is scheduled for 19/20 March followed by the second leg matches one week later.

The Tuesday’s draw have also set the potential pairings of the semi-finals which will take place on 23/24 April (1st leg) and 30 April/1 May (2nd leg).
