Kastamonu already in the finalKastamonu B. Glenclik SK are ready for Women's Challenge Cup final. In this weekend´s double-header on home ground, the Turkish side won both legs against their Ukrainian adversaries, HC Karpaty.
In the first match Sunday, 1000 spectators in the Atatürk spor salonu saw Kastamonu change an 11:8 deficit at half-time into a 24:20 win.
In the same venue on Sunday, Iskenderoglu was her team´s highest scoring player once again. Gran Canaria were leading 12:11 at half-time in Poland and managed to keep the one goal lead until the final buzzer, putting themselves in a favourable position going into their home game in a week. Almudena Rodriguez and Tidara Cabezudo scored seven goals each for Gran Canaria, while Aleksandra Dankowska scored five for Elblag. TEXT: Peter Bruun/tm |
